Monday Beginners : Social Dance
This group class is beginning social dance meeting every Monday at 7:30. We cover new patterns, style, and technique in all partnership dances. Classes are provided at no cost to participants by the Recreative Art Center and are held at Florence Crittenton near Camelback and 7th avenue.
Recreative Art Center promotes adult activities that stimulate, stretch, and strengthen mental, physical, and social well-being in a comfortable environment. Learning is designed to meet the individual needs of adults and to encourage the synergy and mutual benefits of volunteering with youth. Recreative Art Center provides skilled and experienced instructors and volunteers to work with young people at schools and youth organizations.
Florence Crittenton creates safe environments where youth, young adults, and families can discover the support of a caring community and the possibility of a bright new future. Recreative Art Center and Florence Crittenton are excited about this pairing to bring social dance to adults and youth in the community. Join us every Monday evening for the adult class; come at 6:30 if you would like to assist Misha with the youth class.

Wednesday Ballroom
This class is a Ballroom group class meeting every Wednesday. We will focus on body positioning and footwork while working through new patterns in all Ballroom dances. This class is extremely detailed and great for all dancers of all levels. Beginners are encouraged to join this class as well as the more advanced dancers, as we will be covering details from the basics through advanced material. We are starting with Waltz and Tango.
